Summary/Abstract: This paper explores AI-based image processing techniques to enhance the readability of 12th-century palimpsests from the Bulgarian National Library. Combining UV/IR imaging with methods like denoising, CLAHE, and sharpening, the study demonstrates significant improvements in recovering obscured texts for research and educational purposes.
