Summary/Abstract: This paper explores the social perception of university students with visual impairment by their non-disabled classmates and lecturers. It briefly introduces definitions of visual impairment, the legal framework for higher education access, and university support services. A qualitative study using semi-structured interviews with four visually impaired university students in Czech universities investigates their perceptions of how they are perceived by others.
