Summary/Abstract: Christianity is the Way, the Truth and the Life, according to the word of the Savior Christ, which means that authentic living, springing from the confessed knowledge of God, is God’s call addressed to each believer. The contemplation or sight of the Glory of God is a spiritual landmark on man’s journey towards the Resurrection; it is not an end in itself, but a stepping-stone on the way to our salvation. It can be hijacked by harmful phenomena such as de-sacralization or de-Christianization, both of which are emanations of secularization. Through God’s Preaching, man can improve himself spiritually, even in a context hostile to religious perfection, marked by phenomena such as de-Christianization or de-Sacralization.
