Summary/Abstract: The ability to distinguish truth from ideology is one of the fundamental challenges of contemporary man. The specific synchronization between the theoretical dimension and the experience of one's own life is still valid, even in “inhuman” conditions. Viktor Emil Frankl teaches us this through conscientious commitment to the search for truth at the theoretical level and in the testimony of life. The article discusses these issues in the light of logotherapy and thanatopedagogy.
