Effects of revoking a donation in the light of the matrimonial property regime in Polish civil law

Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is to present the issue of the admissibility of revoking a donation made to spouses, the effects of its revocation when one of the spouses committed gross ingratitude and the donation was made to their joint property, and the issue of revoking a donation made by spouses from their joint property when only one spouse has the right to revoke it. The doctrine and case law do not take the same position on the above issues, therefore competing views of each of the views and argu- ments supporting each of the views were presented, as well as the concepts that seem to be the most accurate were indicated.
