Summary/Abstract: Personal rights are non-property values that are particularly important for respecting the dignity and honor of every person. Reflecting his mental and physical affilia-tion with them. The aim of the article is to present the concept and types of personal rights that are regulated in the Civil Code, the Constitution of the Republic of Poland and the Act on Copyright and Related Rights, as well as based on court practice. The work presents personal rights such as life, health, bodily integrity and sexual integrity, freedom and freedom of conscience, which give the possibility of behaving in accordance with the human will, expressing one’s views and professing religion. Another type of personal rights is honor, good name and personal dignity, as well as a n i m a ge wh ic h c a n not b e d i s s em i n at e d w it hout c on s ent , a s wel l a s a n a me a nd a n ic k-name, which identify the individual. The work also presents other goods, such as the secrecy of correspondence or the inviolability of the apartment. The above-mentioned goods regulated by law are indispensable rights of human life, are also manifested in everyday life and are of the greatest importance in the context of the right to pri-vacy. That is why the presented personal rights deserve special attention.
