The History of the Art of War in Officer Education at the Military Department of the War Studies University—Research Findings

Summary/Abstract: This article analyses the need to update the content and teaching methods of the history of the art of war at the War Studies University. Based on research among 137 officers, it identifies the need to strengthen the pragmatic, cognitive, and educational dimensions of the curriculum. Recommendations are made for integrating historical knowledge with preparation for modern battlefield challenges.
