Summary/Abstract: In light of recent developments in the security environment, particularly those resulting from the offensive acti ons of the Russian Federation, strategy emerges as a pivotal document in defence planning. It serves as a pathway to achieving the state’s vital objectives by transforming military actions into political outcomes. Russian hybrid warfare is no longer a novelty; all instruments and means employed by the Russian Federation in its execution have long been integral components of its strategy and security policy. In this context, the triad of strategy, doctrine, and hybrid warfare constitutes the foundation of the Russian Federation’s power projection. Strategy, as a binding element between the logic of peace and war, brings to the forefront the involvement of military doctrine as the provider of fundamental principles guiding military forces or their components in actions supporting national objectives.
