Summary/Abstract: Regional Operational Programme for Lower Silesia for 2007-2013 is one of basic tools for the implementation of Cohesion Policy by voivodeship authorities. For this period the programme possesses the allocation of 1213.14 mln euro and consists of 10 priorities. One of the priorities (“Rehabilitation of degraded urban areas in Lower Silesia”) implements the measures for the revitalization of degraded urban areas. The priority allocation exceeds 106 mln euro (European Regional Development Found). Until mid 2010, during the implementa¬tion of “City” priority, 37 Local Regeneration Programmes were prepared and approved and 251 projects were approved for cofinancing. The projects to be implemented in the “City” priority will cover the degraded technical infrastructure and social problems.
