Summary/Abstract: This paper analyses greenhouse gas emissions in developed countries and their impact on environmental quality. Drawing on recent statistical data and international reports, the study highlights the main sources of emissions such as the energy sector, transport and industry and explores how they affect air, soil and water. Although developed countries have advanced technologies and stricter environmental policies, high levels of consumption and industrialization continue to generate significant pressures on ecosystems. The paper also examines the correlation between implemented climate policies such as the Paris Agreement or the European Green Deal and concrete results in reducing emissions. It thus highlights the need for integrated and sustainable actions that balance economic development with environmental protection.
