Summary/Abstract: The article addresses the digitalisation of state social support benefits at the Labour Office of the Czech Republic and its impact on employees. The aim is to determine whether employees have accepted the digitalisation of state social support benefits, which forms part of the overall transformation and modernisation of Czech labour offices, and whether identification with the aims of the organisation and the process involved in achieving them has led to job satisfaction or dissatisfaction among employees. The qualitative research was based on focus groups that pointed to the emergence of job dissatisfaction in relation to the digitalisation of state social benefits. Digitalisation has not yet been fully accepted by either employees or clients (as evidenced by the large number of paper applications). Although the digitalisation of social benefits is an important step towards modernising the public administration system, it cannot be implemented without thorough testing and the provision of sufficient time for those involved to become accustomed to the new approach to work.
