Summary/Abstract: The general principles of filling a vacant or temporarily vacant post corresponding to the contractual functions and the criteria for promotion to immediately higher professional grades or ranks of the contract staff in the budgetary sector paid from public funds are regulated by H.G. nr.286/20111. The filling of a vacant or temporary vacancy corresponding to a contractual position shall be done by competition or examination, within the limit of the vacant or temporarily vacant posts provided for in the official status of a public institution or authority. Any person who meets the general conditions and the specific conditions established by the job description for the respective contractual position can participate in the competition organized for filling a vacant or temporarily vacant position.
