From the study of the history of medicine – a popularization of the first encyclopaedic medical and veterinary publication (1788–1793)

Summary/Abstract: The article presents sources from the press and a publishing prospectus related to the appearance of a Polish-language multi-volume publication entitled Dykcjonarz powszechny medyki i chirurgii. It was a reprint of a French work. It was published in Warsaw between 1788–1793 by the printer, bookseller and publisher Piotr Dufour.
