Summary/Abstract: The theoretical-empirical study presents the results of research focused on the online risky behaviour of students in the upper grades of primary schools. Through a quasi-experiment, the change in students' behaviour was examined, specifically the presence of the online disinhibition effect in its dimensions. The pretest and posttest measurements were conducted using a questionnaire that included the Online Disinhibition Effect (ODE) scale developed by Cheung et al. (2020). The research sample consisted of 81 respondents in the pretest (AM = 11.89 years) and a total of 90 respondents in the posttest (AM = 11.94 years). Data analysis did not demonstrate a statistically significant difference in behaviour between the studied variables; however, respondents identified the presence of attributes of the online disinhibition effect in their behaviour during the implementation of preventive activities. The results suggest the need for primary prevention in the area of online risky behaviour of students in the upper grades of primary schools.
