Summary/Abstract: Conservation, protection, restoration, sustainable management of the forest fund and terrestrial ecosystems are strategic elements at a triple level - national, European and international. For this, we appreciate as being of interest an approach to the main aspects that characterize the legal regime for the protection of the forest fund established by the current Forestry Code of Romania.
