Summary/Abstract: This article offers a synthesis of the activity of the Metropolitans who have led the Archdiocese of Iași from 1990 to the present, focusing both on key biographical elements and on significant milestones in their social and cultural engagement. In the context of Romania’s post-communist transformation, the ecclesiastical leadership in Iași has played a vital role in reaffirming Orthodox values and supporting education, culture, and philanthropy. The study highlights major initiatives and projects carried out during this period, analyzing their impact on both ecclesial life and the broader civil society. As such, the article contributes to a deeper understanding of the pastoral, social, and cultural dimension of contemporary Orthodox leadership in the region of Moldova.
