Summary/Abstract: The work analyzes the similarities between Iberian-Lusitanian and Romanian tradition and spirituality, highlighting shared elements that reflect a profound vision of the sacred. Both cultures blend Christianity (Catholicism in Iberia, Orthodoxy in Romania) with pre-Christian traditions, preserving magical-ritual practices and myths that give meaning to everyday life. A strong religious syncretism is evident, as well as the cult of saints, belief in miracles, and the intertwining of the sacred and the profane. Heroic myths (Zalmoxis, King Sebastian) express the hope for spiritual and identity renewal. Death is not perceived as an end, but as a transition to another dimension, maintaining a living connection with the divine.
