Summary/Abstract: "Women have played an important role since medieval times. Although her duties were strictly related to family, household chores, the birth and raising of children, she could also participate in certain legal activities: deeds of sale and purchase, dowry deeds, etc. The only thing she had absolute ownership of was the dowry she received from her parents. Most often, in documents, woman appears in the family, having the status of a married woman. "
