Summary/Abstract: In an increasingly complex and interconnected world, emotional intelligence has become an essential skill for personal and professional success. Emotional intelligence, defined as the ability to recognise, understand and manage both our own emotions and the emotions of others, plays a crucial role in how we build relationships, make decisions and cope with everyday situations. Unlike intelligence quotient (IQ), which is often perceived as a fixed measure of cognitive abilities, emotional intelligence (EQ) is a skill that can be developed and improved over time. Developing emotional intelligence offers benefits, including an improved ability to communicate effectively, resolve conflict and maintain inner balance in the face of challenges. It is important for personal and school success by becoming "an influential role model in education". Emotional learning is closely linked to social learning, which mobilises energy to achieve desired outcomes [39,40]
