Summary/Abstract: In this contribution there are several questions referring to teaching programming and algorithm development. When should the above mentioned subjects be taught? What are the aims of such teaching? What tools are applicable in such teaching? The aim is to discuss this topic. We offer several answers to some of the mentioned questions.
