Summary/Abstract: The paper characterizes selected possibilities of implementing research approach in teaching using an example of problem project teaching at low secondary schools. The intended project is specific for its distinctive orientation across curriculum, it aims at implementing integrated concept of teaching (when constructing a model of a robot and the follow-up simulation of an interplanetary cosmic mission selected knowledge from the field of science, technology and mathematics is used here) and it is based on using modern material didactic tools – LEGO MINDSTORMS EV3 construction kits.
