Summary/Abstract: This study explores the differences in perceived motivation levels between managers and Generation Y knowledge workers. Using data collected from 275 Generation Y employees and 95 managers, the research examines if these differences are statistically significant. The findings suggest that managers tend to have a more positive perception of employee motivation levels compared to the employees' self-perception. The study highlights the need for aligning managerial perceptions with the reality experienced by employees to improve overall motivation and performance within organizations.
