Theoretical Turns in the Perspective of the New Humanities and Empirical Research

Summary/Abstract: The article reflects on the nature of theoretical “turns” and the accompanying formation of a cognitive perspective, framed by reflections on the margins of research practice as well as Ryszard Nycz’s project of the new humanities. The research method applied is the analysis of secondary sources. The discussion focuses on defining the concept, its positioning within theoretical traditions, and reflections on its constitutive features.
