Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is to present executive function disorders as one of the determinants of functioning of a child with autism spectrum. For this purpose, a systematic review of the literature was performed. On the basis of this analysis, the relationships between executive function disorders and intensification of difficulties in social-emotional functioning, as well as the regulation of behavioural states are described. Possible forms of support and therapy methods are also presented to address the executive function disorders of children with autism spectrum.
