A Review on the Use of Artificial Intelligence in the Treatment of Anxiety Personality Disorder

Summary/Abstract: In this review study, the effects of artificial intelligence (AI) usage in anxiety personality disorders have been examined. The study utilized a review study design, without relying on field studies or scales. Articles published between 2021 and 2024, as well as experimental studies, were included. This review study was conducted in two stages, between September 2024 and December 2024. As a result of the literature review, a total of five studies were thoroughly researched and examined. These studies evaluated the impact of AI technologies on the treatment of anxiety personality disorders with the advancement of AI technology. The findings from the studies revealed that AI technologies have significant potential in monitoring and managing anxiety levels associated with personality disorders. However, some studies also observed that the rapidly advancing nature of AI could increase anxiety levels in individuals related to technology. It was especially emphasized that personalized AI applications should be used more cautiously in the treatment of personality disorders. In conclusion, AI-assisted tools should be applied after careful design to address anxiety personality disorders. More experimental studies are needed to better understand the effects in this field. Additionally, to minimize the negative outcomes of AI-based applications, it is essential that they are developed within an ethical framework and tailored to individuals' needs.
