Summary/Abstract: The most important resource of an organization is its employees. Therefore, it can be stated that the investment made in the employee within the organization is a positive contribution to the performance of the organization and to itself in a competitive environment. On the contrary, it can be said that organizations that approach their employees with negative attitudes can be negatively affected by this situation. Especially considering that the concept of organizational cynicism includes the negative attitudes and thoughts that employees have towards the work environment in which they work, it can be thought that various problems may occur in the organization when positive contributions are not made to human resources. As a matter of fact, it is possible to say that negative attitudes and thoughts in the workplace may cause people to alienate themselves from their organizations, alienate themselves from work and intend to quit their jobs. In this context, the aim of the study is to determine whether organizational cynicism has an effect on job alienation and turnover intention. The sample of the study consists of 332 accounting employees working in İzmir province and its districts. Descriptive statistics, normality distribution, validity, reliability and correlation analysis were performed. In addition, regression analysis was used to test the hypotheses created in line with the study model. As a result of the research, it was found that organizational cynicism has a significant positive effect on job alienation and turnover intention. In addition, cognitivism, affective and behavioral dimensions of organizational cynicism have a significant and positive effect on job alienation and turnover intention.
