Summary/Abstract: In this case report, a 30 year old female client showed symptoms of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and requested professional support. As a result of the evaluations, the process was carried out with the client through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). When evaluated with DSM-5 diagnostic criteria in the case report, the client has been experiencing serious functional losses in his daily life, which have been increasing for 6 months, due to compulsive behaviors accompanying his obsessions based on symmetry, order and control. During the treatment process, based on the cognitive model of CBT, a structured school of psychotherapy, on the OCD level, techniques such as helping the client evaluate obsessions realistically, restructuring dysfunctional thought patterns, exposure, response inhibition and relaxation exercises were applied. During the process, a total of 8 sessions of 50 minutes were carried out once a week, and a significant decrease in the severity of the client's obsessions and compulsions and a correspondingly significant increase in his functionality were observed. In this case report, the treatment of OCD with the CBT school is emphasized.
