Summary/Abstract: From its origins in Roman law to its application in contemporary legislation, the concept of good faith has played an essential role in striking a balance between the interests of subjects of law. Essentially, good faith imposes a standard of ethical conduct, fairness in the relationships between rights and obligations holders. In this analysis, we will examine the key aspects of good faith in the context of acquiring and exercising copyright, exploring its role in civil law and special legislation, in order to highlight the importance of this concept in the regulations concerning the acquisition and exercise of copyright. Ultimately, the purpose of the research is to provide perspectives for professionals in the field and to examine the practical possibilities for applying this fundamental principle.
