Summary/Abstract: Subjective civil rights, essential within the civil circuit, inherently require public awareness to ensure their optimal respect and protection, as well as to prevent infringements by third parties. The regulation of publicity systems serves both public and private interests, ensuring transparency and certainty in the civil circuit, thereby reducing the risk of clandestine transactions involving assets that may present a public interest. The most common distinction between forms of publicity is based on the criterion of the derived object of the right subject to publicity, which is why we differentiate between movable and immovable publicity. The focus of this paper is the analysis of the progress of the immovable publicity system in Romania, an institution that emerged from the evolution of the legal relationships between civil law subjects, predominantly concerning real property rights.
