Summary/Abstract: The presentation focuses on the concept of good faith in the context of acquiring ownership of movable property and its fruits. Good faith implies convincing the subject that he has the right to acquire ownership of the good, based on justified appearances. The text highlights the importance of good faith in the usucapity of movable property, protecting both the possessor and the beneficial holder of the property right. It is pointed out that the bad faith possessor cannot acquire ownership of the property through usucapity, while the bona fide possessor may acquire the property even if he does not comply with all legal requirements. Good faith is a fundamental principle that ensures legal certainty for the movement of goods and protects the interests of all parties involved. It is recognized as an essential element in various international legal systems, contributing to the stability and predictability of legal relations.
