Summary/Abstract: The paper outlines the methods of covering the Third Silesian Uprising, with accompanying events and political reactions, in the Cologne Post – a daily published privately by the officers of the British Army of the Rhine. The paper, published and printed in Cologne, covered the major events connected to the British Empire and had a layout typical for the press of that period. However, due to the profiled reader – the majority of its content was aimed at the British soldiers – it covered the information ranging from their everyday life, through relations with local people, sports and cultural events to gossip and loose notes from various areas. Consequently, when the Third Silesian Uprising started, it also featured in the paper.
