Summary/Abstract: This study evaluates the economic and ecological efficiency of sustainable agronomic practices in a orchard farm with perennial crops in the Sandanski region, Bulgaria. Using a case study approach, three practices—stabilized nitrogen fertilization, cover crops, and inter-row grassing—were analyzed. Results indicate high return on investment, improved soil biological activity, and enhanced nitrogen use efficiency. A conceptual framework of "adaptive potential" is applied. The findings highlight the strategic role of sustainability in fruit production systems.
