Summary/Abstract: The subject of this article is the morphological analysis of nouns in Russian language. The morphological analysis of Russian nouns is an integral part of studying the structure of the language. Russian morphology is closely related to other components of the language, such as syntax, lexicology and word formation. Learning the morphological categories of Russian nouns contributes to a deeper understanding of the language and the development of communication skills. In this context, the aim of the article is to create an expanded scheme for the morphological analysis of nouns in the Russian language. The expanded scheme differs from traditional ones in that, in addition to basic characteristics (gender, number, case, animacy/inanimacy), it includes detailed questions that reveal the grammatical, word formation, and syntactic features of nouns. The scheme consists of seven key questions with detailed explanations. In line with the study's objective, works by Turkish and Russian scholars have been analyzed. The morphological analysis method was used in the study. The words aviator and friendship were chosen as the review material. As a result of the morphological analysis, it was determined that nouns in the Russian language have various morphological categories depending on their functions within the context.
