Summary/Abstract: This work aims to highlight how the cinematographic tool can carry out a formative function in an artistic form, perfectly describing the story of a negotiation that actually took place. The skilful use of images and the impeccable interpretation of the actors allows Spielbergss work to become not only the representation of a historical event but also an opportunity to celebrate the negotiating skills of the lawyer Jim Donovan played by Tom Hanks. The negotiation dynamics at the base of the Bridge of Spies remain impressed with greater force thanks to the sensations that the images are able to produce in the viewer, bringing to the attention of the viewer technical aspects that would otherwise remain the prerogative of experts and professionals.
