Summary/Abstract: This scientific paper examines domestic violence as a serious violation of human rights, emphasizing that it affects the physical, psychological, sexual, and economic spheres of the victims' lives. The analysis shows that domestic violence violates fundamental rights such as the right to life, dignity, and personal security, highlighting the need for effective legislation and international standards. Measures for prevention and intervention are proposed, such as educational campaigns, specialized services, legal and economic assistance for victims, and others
