Summary/Abstract: The article examines the social dimensions in the management of the agricultural sector in Bulgaria over the past five years. Key aspects such as employment, income, demographic trends, education, and social infrastructure in rural areas are analyzed. The main focus is placed on the challenges and opportunities for the sustainable socio-economic development of the sector. Statistical data supported by national and European sources are presented, along with recommendations for improving the social sustainability of the agricultural sector
