Analysis of Technical Security of Cereal Crops in Bulgaria (2018–2023)

Summary/Abstract: The abstract of the analysis of the technical provision of cereals in agricultural holdings in Bulgaria for the period 2018-2023 summarizes the key aspects related to the production, storage and logistics of cereals, as well as the impact of climatic conditions and financial constraints. Over the past five years, the grain production sector in Bulgaria has faced significant challenges, including outdated equipment, limited access to financing and adverse climatic conditions. According to data from the Ministry of Agriculture, over 65% of tractors and combines are technically outdated, which negatively affects productivity. Despite modernization efforts, many farms do not have the necessary resources to invest in new equipment and technologies
