Digital Technologies in the Context of Children’s Functional Literacy

Summary/Abstract: Preschool age is the most sensitive period in which the foundations of a person's mental, physical and personal development are laid. Digital technologies and digital educational resources have long played an important role in preschool education. Through them, the digital competences of both teachers, who become innovators, and children of preschool age, who themselves in and through experience explore and discover solutions to the given situations, are developed. This article examines the role of digital educational technologies in the development of preschool children. A study was conducted on the opinion and attitude of the modern teacher about the impact of digital educational technologies in the pedagogical interaction.
