Summary/Abstract: The Italian education system is quite flexible. It is constantly changing and this is done in order to modernize and reform. It is completely subordinate to the state. The state leadership has completely taken over management in this area: it participates in the development of training programs, in the administration and control of teacher qualifications, etc.
