WARTOŚCI UTRWALONE W XIX-WIECZNYCH ODAPELATYWNYCH NAZWACH OSOBOWYCH MIESZKAŃCÓW ZIEMI PIOTRKOWSKIEJ
VALUES ESTABLISHED IN THE 19TH-CENTURY APPELLATVE PERSONAL NAMES OF INHABITANTS OF PIOTRKÓW REGION

Summary/Abstract: The article attempts to axiologically analyze the appellative nineteenth‑century personal namesof the inhabitants of the Piotrków region. The research proved the presence of the following axio-logical conceptual fields in the names: 1) transcendent values, 2) non‑transcendent values: a) cogni-tive, b) aesthetic, c) moral, d) social, e) vital, f) utilitarian, g) prestigious, h) hedonistic. The numberof onyms that make them up indicates values consistent with the nineteenth‑century peasant ethos.
