Aid activities for war refugees from Ukraine on the example of the city of Przemyśl

Summary/Abstract: The article discusses the issue of assistance provided to war refugees from Ukraine by the residents of Przemyśl, as well as the involvement of services, associations and foundations operating in the city in aid activities. The residents of Przemyśl directly experienced the tragedy of thousands of people who — fleeing the war — found shelter, support and a moment of rest in Przemyśl before continuing their journey. The city became a kind of "human gate" to Europe for war refugees from Ukraine, for which the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky awarded Przemyśl the title of the Rescuer City
