Summary/Abstract: Cyberbullying, both in the world and in our country, represents a public health problem, which is confirmed by the increasingly busy lines of the "Blue Phone". In addition to the lack of laws in Bosnia and Herzegovina that would protect victims, cyberbullying leads to numerous psychosocial consequences for its victims, further burdening the healthcare system. The main aim of this research is to examine the perception of elementary school students in the SBK/KSB region regarding online violence through social media. The study involved 578 students from seventh, eighth, and ninth grades in primary schools in the areas of Travnik, Vitez, and Kreševo, aged between 12 and 16 years, who voluntarily and anonymously filled out a survey on cyberbullying. Almost one in three respondents (37%) reported being a victim of cyberbullying. Among them, the majority attend primary schools in urban areas (29%). The spreading of explicit photos/videos is considered the most dangerous form of violence through social media (54.9%), with TikTok being the most frequently used platform for cyberbullying (54%). More than half of the respondents (54.5%) cite appearance as the reason for cyberbullying.
