Summary/Abstract: Verbal violence is a form of psychological violence that involves repeated or permanent negative actions by one or more people. Verbal violence includes gossip, name-calling, ridicule, intimidation, mockery, spreading rumors with the aim of isolating a child from other students, etc. Such actions lead to the social exclusion of the child, who often in such circumstances shows a depressive state, a feeling of rejection, inferiority, inability to confront bullies, which can lead to more serious mental disorders in his development and upbringing. Verbal violence today among young people is becoming a lifestyle, where swearing, teasing and ridiculing others actually becomes an everyday occurrence in their behavior. All this points to a negative reflection of a disturbed value system and anomie of society that creates a risky environment for children to grow up and form their personalities. In this paper, we will point out the forms of peer violence, with an emphasis on verbal violence, which is the most prevalent in our society.
