Summary/Abstract: Econometrics is a social scientific discipline that is engaged in measurements, analysis, modelling and forecasting of economic phenomena and events. It applies the methods of economic theory, mathematics, mathematical statistics and the theory of statistical concluding for the analysis and modelling of economic data for the purpose of validation analysis and forecasting of economic events and phenomena. In this paper, there is a bibliometric analysis provided (values for JIF and 5YIF for the year 2017.) of teh 6 reference journals for econometrics which are indexed within SCI-E and SSCI citation data bases. In addition, there is also provided the bibliometric and citation analysis of Robert F. Engle and Clive W.J. Granger, the Nobel Prize winner in the field of economy for the year 2003.
