Summary/Abstract: The aim of this article is to propose a study of cohesion in the argumentative oral productions of B2 learners Frenchas a foreign language in an exolingual environment. More specifically, we focus on the use of the discursive markerdonc ‘so,’ which is highly present in the discourse of French speakers and learners in an endolingual environment.The corpus of sustained monologues was collected as part of a project investigating the acquisition of French asa foreign language by learners in exolingual settings.
