Summary/Abstract: The article highlights the effects of war on children in various conflict zones. Some children end up being spies, soldiers, sex slaves or innocent human shields. Indoctrinated and mentally mutilated, they end up committing crimes of incredible cruelty considering everything as a game. Because Ukraine also has a conflict zone on its borders with Romania, this article seeks to draw attention to the existential dangers for the youth generation that are and will be affected long term by the horrors of this war. Five children die everyday, many are mutilated, and many will never see their families again as a result of thiswarʹs horrors. Based on qualitative research methods, 50 interviews were conducted in aface-to-face manner. The war perceptions and the war effects were analysed and identified.
