Summary/Abstract: What we hear on a recording or during each concert is the result of a long process of search on the part of the individual performer. A search for his truth, his approach, his instrumental means of expression. The resulting “final product” may or may not be liked by the audience. The listener may allow it to be heard or remain indifferent to it.
