Summary/Abstract: The purpose of hereby study is to analyse the situation of minors concerning international cooperation in criminal matters. Given both the development of cybercrime and facilitation of access to means for minors to commit transnational crimes, as well as the liberalisation of cross-border movement, the issue is one that requires our attention. The article will examine, among other things, how to reconcile, from the perspective of international cooperation in criminal matters, the highly heterogeneous regulations on the criminal liability of minors. It deals both with the interpretation of national provisions and with the case law of the Court of Justice of the European Union on the European Arrest Warrant, in particular the Piotrowski case. It also analyses the role of the best interests of the child in international cooperation and the issue of extradition and its specificity in the case of minors.
