Scenariusze zmian w myśleniu o przyszłości świata – możliwe konsekwencje ostatnich wydarzeń społeczno-geopolitycznych
SCENARIOS OF CHANGES IN THINKING ABOUT THE FUTURE OF THE WORLD. THE POSSIBLE CONSEQUENCES OF RECENT GEOPOLITICAL AND POLITICAL EVENTS

Summary/Abstract: The Covid-19 pandemic and the war in Ukraine have caused many positive and negative, as well as temporary and permanent impacts on the lives of individuals and entire societies. Some of them are briefly characterised in the text. The main aim of the article is to describe the possible transformations in prospective thinking about the future. The author proposes various directions of changes in future thinking among youth generations, which are the effects of growing up in a specific period of the recent history, in the time of lockdown and in the face of war. The five scenarios were distinguished, which are sequentially named as: resignation, reduction, no change, deeper reflection and explosion of engagement. Each scenario is analysed along with citations of empirical studies and experts’ opinions estimating the likelihood of its implementation.
