Business orientation in academic education of the future IT staff

Summary/Abstract: The contemporary labor market in the IT sector requires having not only computer science competencies, but also the strong orientation to business objectives' realization. The paper presents the review of teaching programs in Computer Science at the leading universities in Poland from the point of view of development of business competencies, which are necessary to build the decision support systems.
